HILLARY by Tony Puryear-This is an Exclusive Ltd Edition Poster by the Artist Found on Hillary Clinton.com
"Women have one advantage over men. Throughout history they have been forced to make adjustments." Eleanor Roosevelt
Thanks to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton for her strength and character for all Americans and Women.
She taught us all what it means to stand strong in the face of adversity for what you believe in and for what you are working hard to achieve for others. That is what a true Public Servant is all about-- and it is what real American women are all about--we never give up and we persevere through difficult times--for the good of our communities and our country. Thank you Senator Clinton! You have made all women proud to call you our sister!

Here is some information on a great Women's website and a story on two women that are showcased on the website. They wrote a great song for Hillary's campaign. Two talented and intelligent women that have contributed a lot to our country and Senator Clinton's campaign. The song has been produced/recorded in English and Spanish. Listen to it and the story of the women who wrote the song here:
(first link takes you right to the song and a brief description of the song--the second link is the radio show about the women and how they came to write the song)

We will never forget the recent events leading up to the end of the Democratic Primary:

Many are still finding their own personal resolve to transition to the reality of the situation. It is allowed that you take the time to accept the outcome. We are still democrats (most of us) and we still need to focus on what Senator Clinton was working towards: making sure that women's rights were protected, that we appoint two Supreme Court Judges in 2009 that will make sure those rights are protected--a Republican President will not appoint a judge that will look after our rights or protect the rightst that we currently have in place. Please read a book by Dr. Erika Falk called "Women for President, Media Bias in Eight Campaigns."
http://www.amazon.com/Women-President-Media-Eight-Campaigns/dp/025207511...
Dr. Falk documents the eight women that have run for President of the United States. She will be coming out with an updated version soon that will include Senator Clinton's run for the Presidency. In no other campaign has the media asked a candidate to remove themself from the race--as they asked Senator Clinton. Dr. Falk notes how after Sentor Clinton cried in Portsmouth New Hampshire--there were 534 articles written about her. Two weeks prior to her Portsmouth incident--Mitt Romney cried on his campaign trail twice---14 articles were written about these incidents. It is obvious that women are treated very differently to men when they run for President. Much will be written on the balance of treatment of this campaign. And we cannot look back and say What if--as Senator Clinton has asked us not to do. Let's look forward now and know that we have made a great stride for women with her bold step for womankind. She has just landed us on the moon. Let's explore the new territory and see if there is life to be found.
We can then bust open the ceiling once it has been reached--but make no mistake---we cannot stop because a campaign ended--it is just the beginning of the fourth wave! Thank you Hillary Rodham Clinton--you will continue to rise and we will follow and continue to support you. When we support you we support ourselves. She Ain't Heavy She's My Sister!

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I’ll rise.
This is not the first time you have seen Hillary Clinton seemingly at her wits end, but she has always risen, always risen, much to the dismay of her adversaries and the delight of her friends.
Hillary Clinton will not give up on you and all she asks of you is that you do not give up on her.
There is a world of difference between being a woman and being an old female. If you’re born a girl, grow up, and live long enough, you can become an old female. But, to become a woman is a serious matter. A woman takes responsibility for the time she takes up and the space she occupies.
Hillary Clinton is a woman. She has been there and done that and has still risen. She is in this race for the long haul. She intends to make a difference in our country.
She is the prayer of every woman and man who long for fair play, healthy families, good schools, and a balanced economy.
She declares she wants to see more smiles in the families, more courtesies between men and women, more honesty in the marketplace. Hillary Clinton intends to help our country to what it can become.
She means to rise.
She means to help our country rise. Don’t give up on her, ever.
In fact, if you help her to rise, you will rise with her and help her make this country a wonderful, wonderful place where every man and every woman can live freely without sanctimonious piety, without crippling fear.
Rise Hillary.
Rise.

KEEP THE CHANGE COMING!

I have chosen to leave this up so we never forget what happened to Senator Clinton during the campaign--I have not only heard of this happening to Hillary during her campaign--I have heard it happening to other women during their campaigns. One woman running for office in Ohio was told to go home and clean toilets. Do not let this deter you fromrunning for public office/service. Dr. Erika Falk has found out in her study that teh more women run the more women win. Also she finds that the more that women run for office --the more likely it will be that a woman will be elected President in the future.
The idea being that if women are in office--the more acceptable it will be to see a woman in political offices--even the offices higher up. If you have an interst in Public Service--go to Emily's List--they offer campaign help for women wish to enter public service. Or Eleanors Legacy. Or the White House Project:

When are we going to say enough is enough! Our votes can say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! If we allow this to happen to one woman--even if she is a Presidential candidate--it happens to all of us!
Let's say ENOUGH!!! Get out and SUPPORT HILLARY--and KEEP THE CHANGE COMING FOR ALL WOMEN!! If the Media broadcast derogatory words and set that example --as the way to speak about and to a woman--especially a woman that is in public service--how can we expect the men in our communities to view these people as respected examples of people that we want our citizens to emulate. Negativity and hatred ---sexism/discrimination spreads and pollutes when led by example. It is even more powerful when it is led by icons in the media. Educated professionals that the community turn to for their information and trust to turn to for their opinion. What happens when their opinion is not objective and they are discrimnating against someone. They are dangerous to that person they are discriminating against; and to our society, and our way of life. They are unAmerican.
